Small Jackets’ critically acclaimed debut album entitled “Play at high level” was released in March 2004. It received rave reviews from widely-known magazines such as: Rumore, Mucchio selvaggio, Rocksound, All Music, Rockstar, Music lava, Stonerrock, etc. It was also acclaimed as the “first choice” on Rockit, generating big interest in the foursome from both audience and music critics.
Small Jackets started an incessant series of live shows, including blazing and unforgettable live performances. The group shared the stage with important bands of the international rock’n’roll scene such as The Hellacopters, The Lords of Altamonts, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Hardcore Superstars, Dollhouse, Division of Laura Lee, Adolescent, White Flag, Imperial State Electric and many more.
“Walking the boogie”, the bands second album was released in 2006. Nick Royale and Robert, singers and guitarists of The Hellacopters, recorded the solos for the song “Forever night”.
The bands third album entitled “Cheap Tequila” was released in March 2009 with Go Down Records. It was produced in Sweden by Chips K (Sator) and Henryk Lipp, the same sound producers/engineers who created the sound for – and worked in the studio with - The Hellacopters, The Nomads, Sator, Millencolin. Among the various guests found on the record we found singer Walt Lafty of Silvertide, an American band that needs no big introductions; Lafty is a big fan of Small Jackets and the band were very pleased to record part of the record together with him.
The live tour that launched their third album was the “Cheap Tequila Tour” that commenced on April 3rd, 2009. During the first two dates, Small Jackets shared the stage with Thunder Express, whose lineup included Strings – from The Hellacopters
The band is currently working on their highly anticipated fourth studio album, which will kick off their live rock concerts across the country! This next album is said to give their fans the biggest “ear fucking” of their life!! Stay tuned RocknRollas!!!!

Il debutto discografico degli Small Jackets risale a Marzo del 2004, con l'acclamatissimo "Play at High Level" che riceve ottimi giudizi e recensioni da parte delle principali riviste di settore come: Rumore, Mucchio selvaggio, Rocksound, All Music, Rockstar, Music lava, Stonerrock, etc. E' stato anche eletto a "Prima Scelta" su Rockit, generando curiosità sia da parte del pubblico che della critica. Questo il punto di partenza per una lunga serie di concerti indimenticabili per qualità e potenza, in cui gli Small Jackets condividono il palco con alcune fra le più importanti band della scena rock and roll internazionale come The Hellacopters, The Lords of Altamonts, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Hardcore Superstars, Dollhouse, Division of Laura Lee, Adolescent, White Flag, Imperial State Electric, e tante altre.

Il terzo disco degli Small Jackets arriva nel marzo del 2009 - pubblicato dalla Godown Records - e si intitola “Cheap Tequila”. E' stato prodotto in Svezia da Chips K (Sator) e Henryk Lipp, gli stessi ingegneri del suono / produttori che hanno letteralmente inventato il suono di band del calibro di Hellacopters, The Nomads, Sator, Millencolin. Fra le diverse partecipazioni spicca quella di Walt Lafty, voce dei Silvertide, band Americana che non ha bisogno di grandi presentazioni: Lafty è un grande fan degli Small Jackets e la band è stata orgogliosa di ospitare Walt all'interno di un brano incluso nel disco. Il tour di promozione di Cheap Tequila è iniziato il 3 Aprile del 2009. Durante le prime due date, gli Small Jackets hanno condiviso il palco con i Thunder Express, band di Strings – chitarrista degli Hellacopters. Gli Small Jackets sono attualmente impegnati nella registrazione del loro quarto album in studio, che inaugurerà una nuova serie di concerti in giro per lo stivale e non solo!
